How to Start a Small Business

So you want to start a small business.  You are at the investigative stage and have lots of questions.  This seminar will provide exercises and take you through the steps to starting a small business so you can decide for yourself if entrepreneurship is right for you.

  • Is There a Market for Your Service or Product?
  • Overview of Financial Statements
  • "The Starchy Stuff" - BACD Small Biz Checklist
  • Overview of the Business Plan

You will also learn about our continuum of small business development opportunities and other services available at the BACD.

In partnership with The Whitby Public Library

This seminar will be held at The Whitby Public Library and is limited to 12 seats per session.
