University of Ontario Institute of Technology and Durham College students are getting ready to be the engineers of the new economy. Now, they can get a bead on how to bring their technology and business ideas to market at the Bossmaker.ca UOIT and Durham College Satellite Location for young entrepreneurs.
Located in the Durham College Student Centre on the North Oshawa UOIT and Durham College Campus, the Satellite is open every Wednesday. UOIT and Durham College students are invited to come by for information on Business Advisory Centre Durham (BACD) youth programs, including Summer Company and CYBF ( Canadian Youth Business Foundation) and to discuss their technology and business ideas with BACD consultants. Students registering for consultation or Satelitte activities and, on BACD and Bossmaker Facebook and Twitter pages, receive a Bossmaker.ca T-shirt. By wearing the unmistakeable Bossmaker.ca T-shirt on subsequent visits to the Satellite, students are eligible to submit their name into the monthly draw to win prizes.
