Since then, their business, Real Tech Inc., has become an undeniable success; with sales in ten different countries worldwide. Both Jodi and Andrew credit the Summer Company program for launching them into their journey as entrepreneurs. Here is their story...
"Andrew and I were both involved in Summer Company in 2001. I had a company called Southern Exposure Solar Heating Systems, and he had a company called Andrew's Pool Services. After operating my business that summer, I ended up changing my focus at school from Accounting to Entrepreneurship."
"Andrew also enjoyed his experience operating a business, developing one of his products back then to automate my solar panels."
"Andrew and I both now own and operate Real Tech Inc. together, and have a 1,500 sq. ft. facility in Oshawa. We have sold our first product, the Real UVT meter, around the world, with sales in ten countries and interest from many other countries. We are looking forward to continuing to grow our business with our business plan projecting enormous possibilities and success for our company and product line."
